Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions, you’re more than welcome to ask linus@healing-boxes.com, but here are some of our more commonly asked questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for here, feel free to let us know.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide for only £5! Just order your box through our shop and we’ll ship it to you (or whoever you’re sending it to). If you have any problems, just let us know.

Can I send a box into hospital?
Yes. We regularly send Healing Boxes to people who are struggling in hospital. Just include the hospital address when you go through the checkout.

How long do the boxes take to arrive?
For boxes shipped to the UK, the expected time is 3-5 days. Boxes shipped outside of the UK (internationally) are expected to take up to 2 weeks. We can’t always guarantee these times but if you have any concerns, please get in contact as we may be able to arrange for other delivery options, such as special or next day delivery.

Can I include a message to the person who receives the Healing Box?
Yes. Just include your message to the seller in the Paypal shop. If you have any issues with this, simply email us when you place your order and we’ll include a card with your message in your Healing Box.

I’m not sure which box would be best. Can you recommend something?
We’re more than happy to offer our recommendations and, if you’re still not sure, you can get a bespoke box made up to fit the person you’re buying for.

Is it possible to choose specific colours / flavours etc. of gifts?
Yes. We understand how important it is to get the box just right so if you’re looking to get some specific colour or flavours into your Healing Box (the recipient is lucky to have a friend in you!) just let us know and we’ll do our best to put that together for you. We’re currently working on getting a shop designed that allows you to do this more easily through our shop, but until then we’ll help out in any way we can.

Is it possible to mix and match the gifts from different kinds of boxes?
Absolutely! We love getting our Healing Boxes just right, so if you’ve seen different gifts on our website and want to get them all in one box, just tell us what you’ve seen and we’ll get them together in one place for you. The cost of the box may have to change if some gifts are exchanged for others, but we’ll let you know the final price before you buy.

What if none of the boxes in the shop seem suitable? Can I get a box tailor made?
You certainly can. We offer a bespoke box service, so you can tell us what you’re looking for, the needs and passions of the person you’re buying for or anything else you feel is relevant, and we’ll come back to you with some options that will hopefully put a big smile on someone’s face. Through this service we offer extra special gifts that aren’t available through our website, so if your Healing Box needs that extra something, this may be the option for you.

Can I order specific items that aren’t on your website to go in a Healing Box?
We do offer a bespoke box service which may be best as we can search around and find the gifts that are the best fit for the person receiving the Healing Box. If there’s something specific you’d like to include, just let us know and we’ll see if we can accommodate it.

How do you choose the gifts that go in the boxes?
Everyone who works at Healing Boxes has experience of living with health challenges, being a carer or managing serious life struggles. We also have advisors and contacts that we use to help find the right items for the boxes. All the items we put in our boxes are chosen based on our experience (or the experience of others) of what’s been useful and each item is communally chosen to make sure we get the best gifts available.

Why don’t you stock ____________?
If there’s something you’d like to see in a Healing Box, please do let us know. We’re always on the look out for new gifts and aim to expand our range over time. We may not be able to stock every suggestion, and we may not be stocking something you think is suitable now, but as we are a small business we have to be very considerate about what we can supply and whether or not we’d be able to stock them in our boxes. However, our goal is to provide the support and comfort that people need and we appreciate every stock suggestion, as well as your patience while we gradually expand our range. Thanks so much for considering helping us to improve what we do. 🙂

How can I get my product stocked in your boxes?
We’re always on the look out for new gifts to put in our Healing Boxes. As we are a small business we may not be able to stock everything suggested, but if you have something you think would go well in a Healing Box, please let us know at linus@healing-boxes.com. Thank you.

What if I have an allergy or chemical sensitivity?
We aim to make our boxes as accessible as possible. We look to source gifts that are as chemical free as possible and have as few allergens as possible. We feel it is important not to exclude people who have health challenges, allergies or chemical sensitivities, however if you are concerned about this at all, please do let us know before you buy your Healing Box and check the product description online.

Are Healing Boxes suitable for vegetarians/vegans?
All the gifts we supply in our boxes are 100% vegan. This is an integral part of what we do as the founders of the company are both vegan and understand the importance of making gift boxes that are as accessible as possible.

How are Healing Boxes packaged?
Our boxes are packaged with recycled tissue paper and we get our supplies as ethically as we can. We don’t just aim to make people smile with gift boxes, we also aim to make people smile by keeping the world as beautiful as possible!
